How do I add someone?

Tap the gold + band and choose Share my invite. Send the link to one person. Once they accept, you can psst each other. If someone sent you a code, choose I have a code.

My Pssts don't make a sound or don't show up

Check that notifications are on for Psst in iPhone Settings → Notifications → Psst. Silent mode and Focus can quiet them; iPhone decides that, not Psst. Pssts always appear when you open the app.

What does “seen ✓” mean?

Their app showed your Psst on their screen. “sent” means our server accepted it and handed it to Apple. That doesn't prove it reached their phone yet.

It says “Try again in 0:42”

To stop anyone being flooded, you can send up to 10 Pssts a minute to one person. The band dims until you can tap again.

How do I remove, block or report someone?

Hold their band, or go to Settings → People. Remove ends the connection. Block also stops them connecting again. Report blocks them and sends us a report to review. Nobody is told.

Psst+ and purchases

Psst+ is an optional one-time unlock for colours, app icons and whisper sounds. Pssting is always free. On a new or reset phone, open Psst+ and tap Restore purchase. For refunds, use Apple's Report a Problem page.

I got a new phone

Accounts are anonymous and belong to one phone. On a new phone, choose your name again and re-invite your people.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Delete account. It deletes your data from our server straight away. See the privacy policy.
